Los Angeles County Coroner Lt. Fred Corral will lead a team of medical experts performing an autopsy between 7AM and 8AM PDT Friday on Michael Jackson to determine what killed the superstar singer.
It’s believed that Jackson died of cardiac arrest, meaning his heart simply stopped beating. But the big question is: if it was cardiac arrest, why did it happen? Jackson was only 50.

The autopsy will likely take several hours to perform. During it, they will examine Jackson’s body and check his organs for any deformities. They will also take blood samples.
Preliminary results are expected fast. We could know the official cause of death by Friday afternoon.
